We are the right fit if you have a high-potential, hardworking, and self-motivated student seeking acceptance to an elite university.
Our Competition / Market Position
Our primary competition comes from Ivy Coach, Command Education, and IvyWise. We encourage all prospective clients to reach out to these companies directly to get a quote / learn more about their specific offerings relative to ours. We know employees at these companies who are great people, as well as students who have achieved excellent results with each of these firms. To get the level of service we offer at any of these firms, expect to pay $75-150K minimum over the course of your student’s pre-college career.
While these firms provide excellent results, LifeSpark Prep provides the same level of expertise as all of these firms, at a more competitive price point. We also offer a family-first approach modeled after our own family’s success in this process. Our competition is made up usually of older, former admissions officers who are no longer directly connected to what is happening on campus in the modern day.
Additionally, the fee structure of these (and other competitors) is often confusing and tiered based on the level of service requested. That’s not how we operate. We agree on one, all-inclusive cost, based exclusively on the time-on-task requested from us. No hidden fees. No "20K extra payment due if we get you into Stanford”. No extra costs for specific colleges, projects, or AP independent studies.
Expect to Pay — $150K+
Primary Selling Point — Decades-long history of fantastic Ivy League acceptance results and a deep roster of former admissions officers guiding their students. Most would say they are the best service in this industry, hence their top-of-market price point.
Us vs Them — We would ask you the following question: Is being advised by someone who was an admissions officer in the early 2000s worth an extra $100K relative to those with comparable and more recent experience?
Expect to Pay — $100K+
Primary Selling Point — All-inclusive, white-glove mentorship, coaching, and admissions support from a small, highly qualified team of young and dynamic, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford grads.
Us vs Them — Honestly, we are the most similar to Command Education. We offer the exact same service with the same level of expertise. We’ll let you be the judge if they are worth an extra $50K!
Expect to Pay — $75K+
Primary Selling Point — The same approach as IvyCoach, but without the rich history of success. Their team is made up of former admissions officers and they offer a more diverse set of services for families (such as transfer applications, graduate school admissions, etc.)
Us vs Them — IvyWise is a large consulting firm, focused on multiple aspects of education. Expect a “big company” feel if you work with them. We prefer a smaller, more personalized service.
What Sets Us Apart
Family-First
We were all raised with the values of loving, honoring, respecting, and taking care of our family first.
You can expect us to reflect those values through an inclusive method that focuses on working with both students and parents in their own appropriate parts of this process, and de-stressing college applications for your entire family.
Experiential Learning
If you think your college application is going to stand out from the crowd with good grades and test scores, think again.
Living out your passions gets you into the top schools. We will design experiences for you that will stand out to colleges and give you life skills.
More Than College Prep
Your life is not defined by where you go to college. Your life is defined by the sum of your choices, actions, life works, and service.
We will help you learn what your passions and interests are, chase and work at them hard, and prepare you to choose the right career pursuits post-college. Doing all this also has the benefit of getting you into an elite university.
